The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is a common and umbrella organization of Nepali journalists, which has been continuously playing a role in protecting, promoting the journalism sector and ensuring the professional rights and interests of journalists. According to the federal structure, the organization of the federation is organized at three levels: central, provincial and district. Among them, the provincial committee is a new structure formed with the implementation of the federal system. In this context, the founding working committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Bagmati Provincial Committee (then Provincial No. 3 Committee) was formed on 22 Baisakh 2075.
